Why Artistic Roller Skating?
Artistic roller skating was certainly very popular in the 1980s and is still practiced by many people today.

Certified Skating Coach
Coach Mauro was born in Asti, Italy in 1984
He has the third (top) level coach certificate recognized by the Italian and he is one of the coach selected by USARS for World Skate.

Skating is a tradition in the Costarella family since the ’70 when Coach Mauro’s uncle won many Italian and International competitive awards.
Blue Roller was the skating Club where Mauro began his athlete career, and it is the oldest Skating club in Italy.
He became quickly renowned skater and, at the age of 14, Mauro won his first National competition.
Upon being selected for the Italian skating team, he achieved several national and European titles that are part of his athlete personal record.
In 2005, his trainer career jump started when his athlete Andrea Nicastro won the Italian Nationals and since then Coach Mauro record keeps growing and growing.
Internationally known trainers have constantly worked together with Coach Mauro and have contributed to the achievement of the unrivaled leading position of the Italian Roller skating team in the worldwide scenario.
His skating advising and expertise have been requested in many national seminars and he is a guest coach of the Mexican Yucatan Team since long time.
Mauro moves to United States in 2019.
His journey began at the Atlantis Skating Rink in Lake Worth, where he swiftly emerged as a prominent figure in the roller skating community. His arrival heralded a new era of success and innovation in the sport.
Upon joining Atlantis Skating Rink in Lake Worth, he wasted no time in implementing his unique coaching approach. His dedication and expertise soon yielded remarkable results, setting the stage for a series of impressive achievements.
In September 2019, he introduced a groundbreaking teaching methodology that would leave a lasting impact on the sport.
In the United States, the skating community has recognized and embraced the invaluable contributions of Mauro as a coach. His dedication to nurturing young athletes and helping them achieve remarkable results has not gone unnoticed. His impact on the sport and the lives of aspiring athletes is truly appreciated and valued by the skating community.
Mauro's dedication to sharing his expertise and helping athletes reach their potential has taken him far beyond his local community. His passion for coaching has led him to travel extensively, including outside of his home state.
